Quilts & Memory Bears

My pricing includes materials such as stabilizer, batting and fabric for the quilt back and edges. Embroidery is extra.

For my client’s first grand baby

I cut each T-shirt block 16×20 so, after stitching, the quilt measures 72×98”.
It’s too big for a good picture, but you can still see how great it turned out. The red backing/ binding fabric brought everything together nicely

These memory bears turned out so cute

So very cute!

My friend made the quilt top and asked me to finish it for her

This was a fun one. Made from Carolina Hurricanes Rally towels

This quilt is appx 52”x80”

This was a fun quilt to make. My client loves to run and didn’t let Covid stop her. On 10-31-2020 she ran the “Pam 5k” – a race she planned herself. To commemorate, I
made a “race bib” block out of the shirt she wore.

My clients recently purchased a vacation beach house rental and asked that I design/make a quilt to be used in lieu of a guest book. They named the property “Tide-ings of Joy”. There’s room for lots of guests to sign. What fun!

My first quilt of the year

My client had only a few shirts so I used a 15” square template for cutting and added 2” fabric strips between each block. The quilt finished out at 48” X 62”. Perfect throw size quilt

Another finished t-shirt quilt in time for Christmas

Birthday gift for my neighbors father. Boy did he have a lot of ties!

Memory quilts for two much adored teachers

This quilt is made up of three sizes of blocks so I used a combination of block to block and fabric strips to make the measurements work. T-shirt quilts can be sewn T-shirt block to T-shirt block or, as in this case, fabric strips sewn between the rows and columns. The fabric strips add width and length and can bring the colors together or as a contrast. Here’s a quilt I finished earlier this week

I added fabric between the rows to add length. Final measurement is 59×64

Here’s a queen size “t-shirt block to t-shirt block quilt. Too big to get in a single shot.
